Welcome to Anchored. By downloading, installing, or using the Anchored app ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Anchored is a personal sobriety and recovery companion app. It provides tools for daily check-ins, journaling, goal tracking, streak monitoring, and reflective content. Anchored is not a medical device, therapy service, or substitute for professional treatment.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Anchored. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Anchored offers optional premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly) and a one-time lifetime purchase. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
Anchored offers a 7-day free trial that gives you full access to all premium features at no charge. The trial begins automatically when you first launch the app — there is no sign-up, no Apple ID confirmation, and no payment information required to start or use the trial. The trial does not auto-convert into a paid subscription.
When the trial ends, premium features become locked. To continue using premium features, you may then purchase a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase through Apple's App Store. Each user is eligible for one trial per device.
All content you create within Anchored — including journal entries, check-ins, goals, letters, and motivations — is yours. It is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data.
You agree to use Anchored only for its intended purpose as a personal self-improvement tool. You may not reverse-engineer, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the app.
Anchored is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific needs. Anchored is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you are experiencing a crisis, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anchored and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
